We should never forget what happened in Canada under the Freedom Convoy. It's insane that there haven't been any repercussions against Trudeau after Canadian citizens got their money frozen by their government.

The press here in Canada took a lot of money from the government in recent years to stay afloat, there's a lot of protectionism and outright propaganda in all the mainstream news. They often put scare quotes on "Freedom" when they do the convoy coverage.

There was a lot of effort expended in the press to make this seem like a low-class hoodlums' rebellion, or a Nazi rebellion (some spook or idiot threw a Nazi flag over a statue or something). They had footage of what looked to be a gov't photog waiting at some staged altercation on a blocked road. Fucked up stuff.

“Briane is a single mom from Chilliwack working a minimum wage job,” MP Mark Strahl tweeted, adding “She gave $50 to the convoy when it was 100% legal. She hasn’t participated in any other way. Her bank account has now been frozen.”

During the controversy, Canada’s Justice Minister David Lametti said Trump supporters in America who donated money to the Canadian Freedom Convoy should also “be worried” about having their bank accounts frozen.
