This question came to mind when I was making the meme for "Meme Monday". Let's imagine that bitcoin increases in value exponentially to the point where 1 sat is very valuable and makes it impossible to use to buy a coffee for example. Does anyone know how to divide 1 satoshi into smaller parts? Currently, the smallest unit is the satoshi and I don't even know if dividing it into smaller units will be possible. I appreciate your collaboration in answering this question.

LN is already using msats as standard unit for routing payments.
So it means that this will not be a problem because the Lightning Network already uses units smaller than 1 satoshi. If I understand correctly, it means that the solution to this possible problem can only be solved in the second layer?
