First of all, thanks to @Public_N_M_E for creating this sub! Else I would have written an angry message in the saloon that there is no ~music yet since I need one right now, lol
Now to the topic:
I am sure we all know this. We're listening to the (spotify) radio and a few hours later, we realize: There is a song stuck in our ears now (btw, in German, we call this an "earworm").
And then you desperately try to find the song using some snippets of the lyrics you can remember (but don't even know if you remember them right since you probably didn't even properly listen to the lyrics in the first place) but you just can't seem to find it.
Then you just turn the radio on and wait until the song appears again to save it in a playlist.
I know there are some services out there where apparently, you can just hum the song and it should tell you what song it is. But did anyone try? Are they worth it? Is this how AI will improve my life in the long run? By making it easier to find exactly the song you were looking for with absolute garbage input?
I decided to make this post a bounty since I am wondering if anyone can find the song that I am looking for:
It goes like this:
we're at the end of the roooaaaaddd ... more money more problems (???) ... got big enough problems of my own ... we're calling it off
Thanks!
5,000 sats paid

also just realized: it's "we're cutting it close" not "we're calling it off"
and the name of the song is literally "cutting it off"
damn, the more i look into it, i should have found it haha
but hey, you can't know everything, right? :)

I think this is what you are looking for
On Hungarian language, it exist a website ( https://www.zeneszoveg.hu/ ) where you can find lyrics just based on some worlds... on English... IDK

please don't ignore everything else i said just because i mentioned a bounty, lol

yeah.. the topic is good, and the suggestions (shazam alike..) don't always solve these cases..
as a music hobbyist, sometimes i play the piano with pseudo-melodies that i'm sure i kind of heard it (earworms?), but i will never know the source or how much of it is original
btw how did @radentor found it, was it pure luck of knowing the song?

What style of music is it?

I actually don't know, had to look it up what it might be by using bands I've been listening to recently so I think it will be a very similar style:
Rain City Drive is an American post-hardcore ensemble originally hailing from Sacramento, California.
Memphis May Fire is an American metalcore band formed in Denton, Texas and currently signed to Rise Records.
So I think it's a similar style to these songs:
