lmao, this is it, i literally would just needed to listen to the song for a few seconds to realize. but i didn't since that song didn't show up in my search or something
but it does when i search for "we're at the end of the road rain city drive lyrics". should have known it's from rain city drive!

also just realized: it's "we're cutting it close" not "we're calling it off"
and the name of the song is literally "cutting it off"
