and I feel like security and privacy have so many things in common, why not cocreate together @davidw @ekzyis the stronger the force, more fun would have ) and you have time to take breaks:)!
now it's way too many territories, but less is more - focus is a super power.

Yes but those are still different things.
For example, things can be secure and not private or private and not secure or both or neither of those.
I will leave this as an exercise to the reader to fill out this table with examples :)

I donā€™t see the distinction myself personally. Tech covers things not privacy related, but each to their own. Iā€™m sure weā€™ll see plenty of parallels and competition with territories.

as a reader, all I want is go to the same place to read all the good stuff easily, don't really care which territory tbh šŸ«£

100%. I foresee the ā€˜hotā€™ feed will in name or functionality become a ā€˜for youā€™ screen, allowing you to tweak and see your faves all in that one place.
Makes sense it is a bit segregated for now given the team didnā€™t foresee it being this popular.
Tagging multiple territories could help. Or having sub-territories. Although thereā€™s currently no incentive, even if it were possible today to do, to house them inside one another. But I guess there will be once they get big enough and enough eyes on them and people may choose to relocate their horses & crew.

You mean you see no distinction between security and privacy?
Example for secure but not private systems: Gmail.
I would say Google does all it can to not leak your mails (keep them secure). But are your mails really private? Can you tell Google: Hey, you can read this mail but please don't read this one? Or even: Please don't read any mail because SMTP is using plaintext because it's an old protocol from the early days of the Internet?
Tech covers things not privacy related, but each to their own.
We're here in the recently founded ~security, not ~tech
Iā€™m sure weā€™ll see plenty of parallels and competition with territories.
I'm not trying to compete with you, if you took this territory this way
Are we already entering the territory battle phase? Things really move fast, lol
but then they have the same goal - to stay safe šŸ‘€
