I'm so happy this exists. It is an excellent demonstration of the principle "your node, your rules" and it is pretty easy to modify the bash script to enforce other conditions too. You can modify it to enforce bip300, or CTV, or any other soft fork really. Though meant as a joke, it's a genuinely wonderful idea imo and I want to do some videos outlining how it works and how to expand upon it for more purposes.

It filters out blocks by given criteria. So you can use it in hypothetical future when bip300 or ctv will be in default node implementation

It seems to me that most commenters here are completely missing the point here. @rijndael is providing exactly the tool that many inscription opponents are claiming to demand and thereby demonstrating that their stance is untenable, since none of them will run it.

Thank you @Murch :-)

The Wizard Clowns know the only way their scam can survive is by forking the blockchain. Since this is a BCV/BCH-style suicide, they want us to fork off. Don't fall for this trap!

You are currently falling for the trap

So it basically rejects anything post-segwit, right? Any change ever introduced to Bitcoin is pure heresy, WE SHOULD ALL USE THE ORIGINAL CLIENT!

It rejects any block that contains an inscription as invalid, thereby forking off at the height of the first block with an inscription.

Hence, solving the inscriptions bug and keeping the purity of the system as Godtoshi intended, not evolving the network ever!!!!!!! /s

rot13maxi is the one doing the ordinal spamming here... I guess his purifier tool is a bit tongue-in-cheek.

Yes, I think he's even doing some work for Taproot Wizards.
