There are so many different distribution channels though. Plus you can get sponsors, both corporate and individual. 

But let’s be real, at 4 million shows, $200k per show would be insane. I mean podcasts are popular with us freaks, but we’re an anomaly 

ahh i see. still not that much money. i'd need 200k/year to do it fulltime.

This was just the top earning episode. We don’t share the show level stats but multiple shows received over $10,000 in 2023.

Fountain Rewind 2023

i recently switched from spotify podcast to fountain. the new design is great and competes nicely with spotify.

i'm surprised though that the highest earning podcast in 2023 was just $793 worth of sats. That's not enough imo.
