Calling all stackers!
Leave a comment below to let the SN community know what you're working on this week. It doesn't matter how big or small your project is, or how much progress you've made.
Just share what you're up to, and let the community know if you want any feedback or help.
If you missed last week's thread, here are the updates stackers shared from all their latest work projects.
I need to set up a Nostr and twitter account for Stacker Sports so I can shamelessly promote SN everywhere I go. See you there.

Had planted sweet potato in my farm some time back, which seems to not grow properly. Suspect its due to potash deficiency in the soil. Plan to burn some wood for the ash and use it, along with chicken manure. Got this as a tip from a veteran farmer close by. Also, peacocks be invading the farm and eating recently planted crops. Farm boundary needs some kind of securing. Looking for something cost effective. Undecided.
Learning nostr basics on the sides. Started with the NIPs. Intend to build something for myself.

Beware that ash makes the soil acidic and can limit the absorption of nutrients.
reply
But ash is alkaline, it neutralizes acids in the soil?

- wood-ash is beneficial to many soils due to its inherent acid-neutralizing capabilities. However, wood ash has several ecosystem-perturbing effects like increased soil pH and pore water electrical conductivity both known to strongly impact soil bacterial numbers and community composition.
reply
I was wrong, ash increases ph. So the soil becomes less acidic.

in no particular order:
  • working through the first set of PlebDev courses
  • building a bitcoin onboarding guide for my friend - they've bought their first sats & want to hold their own corn but still need explainers on some things,so I'm making a lil presentation w/ resources so they can look over options for building that plan to stack sats & also have more info on what to ask.
  • still reading Mastering Bitcoin
  • working on trying to focus my thoughts and be more accountable. I started planning & writing out what I wanted to do for the week this morning and it felt good.
I actually end up working on the things I say here so thanks for SN

I'll be contributing to train Spirit of Satoshi, translate Bicoin.org in Spanish and will start working with the Mempool.space localization team.

Cool beans. What would you say is something unexpected you learnt while building Spirit of Satoshi?
reply
It has challenged my own knowledge about Bitcoin and how to express it in a convincing manner. The training process is quite redundant and you have to interact with other people's ideas so you need to get to the point and be very straightforward. I am just starting so I look forward to learning a lot from this experience!
