An appreciation for the ordinary.
As the world moves closer to VR, AI, all this stuff — getting “what you want” will be a trivial endeavor. It’s become easier with the internet, but now we’ll be able to put forth whatever persona we can possibly imagine, and have it look and work exactly how we want it to.
You can have anything you want in virtual reality, and it will become all too easy to then take for granted or even despise the real world.
Obviously, that’s a dangerous mental precedent to set for anyone.
Given these issues, and a whole host of others that are bound to come: What else do we need to be focused on instilling in the next generation?
