territory roadmap is roughly:
  • crossposting
  • allow name changes
  • allow sub-territories and sub-sub-territories an sub-sub-sub-territories and so on
  • every territory and sub-...-territory gets its own reward/donation pool
  • more economic moderation tools
  • more post types
Conservatively, you should expect sub territories in 12 weeks. Very optimistically, 4 weeks.

It will have a tree structure like threads if that's what you mean.

and can people other than the main territory owner own the branches of the tree? / anywhere i can read about it so as not to take up your time :D

Yes they will be able to sell sub-territories to other stackers as well as create sub-territories in their territory for free.
We have some info in the FAQ but it discusses territories as-is. You are asking questions about the future. :)
We have some content on our github repo wrt to sub-territories but its mostly kept in my noggin.
