Personally 2, but wider my Linkedin feed is filled with people looking for new jobs, especially marketers and recruiters in the tech sector/saas businesses, its absolute carnage

Last year, in my company, our boss said as google despited we will do the same... :(
My sense is that a bunch of this is big companies realizing, little by little, that LLMs really do amplify people to the extent that you can do more with less. Combined with the fact that a lot of those companies carry a lot of chaff. If I'm right, momentum will build steadily.
Not laid off, but some are being "pushed" to leave. No raises with inflation still high and interest rates high. Even in tech that it was very easy to find a better pay is not like that anymore. Everything is cutting and contracting.
