We're using [NIP-23](https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/23.md) since SN allows edits for 10min after posting and afaik, these are the only events that allow edits.

But unfortunately, nostr clients like Primal and Snort don't show kind 30023 events, only kind 1 (short text notes). Your note should show up on clients like [habla.news](https://habla.news/) though. Not sure why it showed up on Amethyst only for a while.

You're not the first one (and very likely not the last one) who got confused by this. I got confused by this too.

It might make sense to repost as kind 1 when the edit timer ran out. And/or mention somewhere that these aren't published as short text notes.

I tried the cross posting feature from SN to Nostr and it's a bit broken. 
First I got error from some relay, but the error message wasn't clear if I should care or not, I think I retried posting, which created duplicate nostr post :(.  
The post is [on SN](https://stacker.news/items/388261), but on nostr I don't know how to find it. It showed up for a while on my Amethyst.
