Ok, it was just a Wizards-Pistons deal, but let this be a reminder that trade season is upon us and that you don't want to miss out on the Stacker Sports NBA Trade Season Challenge.
Nobody predicted Muscala and Galinari for Bagley (or anything involving those guys) so all of our predictions are still alive.
Did you read the report about Pascal potentially to Pacers for 3 firsts?
Sauce
Pacers keeping its core and using picks to get Siakam. They want to win now with Haliburton and the current core.
Raps entering full rebuild mode.
The one day I step away to run some errands. I miss everything.
Have I forgotten how to read or are the Pelicans just sending stuff out?
Typo in the ESPN article I think. As per Woj, the 2nd round pick is from Pacers to Pels

What a haul! Pacers are gonna be trouble in the east though.
Indeed! With added wing defense and also additional offense from Siakam, Pacers will definitely stir things up. Let's see how they play together. My guess is Siakam will fit right in, because Haliburton has such good vision and high basketball IQ. I also think that Siakam will feel very comfortable being the second option, as he never seemed to play well being "the man". Maybe he couldn't handle the pressure of driving the bus and performs much better when he is not in the spotlight.
Thanks, I reread that a bunch of times and clicked through to the article. I thought maybe they just really hated Kira Lewis.
No, would they be sending any significant players back too? That potentially seems like a big haul for Pascal.
Not sure what the whole package would be but that's the core of it. Supposedly the Pacers don't want to include Mathurin or Walker which is why they are going the pick route.
You are the Woj of Stacker News. Seems like Detroit is freeing up some cap space with this move.
@gnilma is the new SN Woj. Haha
You're not gonna make one of us Shams?
Whoever breaks the basketball news of the day is the Woj. There is no second best.
Haha, is SN Woj of the day a thing now?
I guess that depends on the news of the day.
I gave zero thought to what these teams were trying to accomplish with this trade, which might somehow be more than they deserved.
I was disappointed to see the mighty Thunder lost to the Lakers last night. Raps were an impressive 4-32 from 3 last night against the best team in the conference. Haha. So we are doing that again.
That's pretty funny. I haven't caught up on yesterday's games yet. Although, I did watch the 10 min Raps/Celts recap. That looked like a good game. The Raps almost pulled it out.
They have been playing well since the trade but lost four in a row now. 3/4 they played well and could have won but I don't know what to think at this point.
Competitive non-contender is a tough position to get out of.
Trade pascal and get assets, picks and cap space. Let's build towards being good in 25 and great in 26.
Thunder and Clippers has been an entertaining game so far.
Top 10 PG13 game? He was awesome!
