I pretty much only drink water, tea, coffee, beer. Used to drink soda as a kid, but when it stopped being easily available, I stopped without even realizing. Lost 10 pounds basically immediately.
If I'm feeling extra thirsty in a way that water isn't satisfying, I use one of those salty hydration multipliers and I'm sorted pretty quick (I like the LMNT brand since they have good flavors and no sugar)
I track my water intake, nutrition, and workouts in the Proof of Work Fitness app.
I typically stay really well hydrated but I kind of got a little blue a few weeks ago and my urine was dark yellow so I wanted to do a better job of staying hydrated. So I started using my app more.
I have developed something rather useful in my personal life.
Every time that I have a thought about water, as in, "should I get a glass now?", I simply stop what I'm doing and drink a glass of water, fill up the glass again and go back to what I was doing.
That trick has made me drinking way more water that before, and it is great.
