Here's what I got:
Coinkite Blues
Woke up this mornin, she was gone without a trace I said, woke up this morning, she was gone without a trace Looked around the room, I could hardly recognize the place
I met her down in Pub Key, drinking whiskey, wine and beer Said I met her down in Pub Key, drinking whiskey, wine and beer When the man yelled out last call She said come on, let’s get outta here.
We went back to my place, everything was oh so fine I said, we went back to my place, everything was oh so fine Believe me when I tell you, she damn nearly broke my spine.
I just climbed out of bed, took two aspirin for my head I said I climbed out of bed, took two aspirin for my head I went over to my laptop, but there was just an empty space instead.
My mind it started spinning, It sure wasn't worth the fun My mind it started spinning, no it wasn't worth the fun My desk drawer was opened, how could she do what she just done?

@Public_N_M_E has ideas on improving it and adding music. Maybe we'll see his first SN music video.

I wouldn't even know where to begin with a music video 🀣

It needs a chorus: I got dem coinkite Blues, From my head right to my shoes. I got dem coinkite Blues, From my head right to my shoes She even got my seeds And you wonder why I got the blues?

Not gunna lie... It is straight rubbish off a dodgy throat (cos Ive had the man flu) recorded on mobile sat in my car 🀣🀣 but I got something... What I can't work out is how to upload an audio file...sooo I'll try and work that out and get back to you with the file.

Excellent!

Ok... So oddly enough I've been able to hear this (or at least, hear something) in my head.
Just for fun I might add a really simple blues line to this and see how it sounds. Could be a giggle. But I'm by no means a good guitarist.

Excellent! I didn't know you played. I'm thinking in e with a few cliche blues scale licks thrown in.

Havn't picked one up in several years but playing a simple blues riff wouldn't be too difficult. At least one really really simple one to just give the lyrics so kinda base to be expanded on.
reply
Now we need a guy to sing it with a gravelly voice with a nice acoustic blues guitar accompanying him.
reply
I'd actually be better with the gravelly voice than I would with the guitar.
I'm a much better vocalist than guitarist πŸ˜‚

I'm gonna grab my guitar. It's been a while.

I doubt I'll be able to get to it til weekend or maybe mid next week. Maybe. But just reading the lyrics I managed to find a tune I could fit to it. Might need to manipulate some of the lyrics.
Like in the lyrics rhyming seed with blues feels off to me, but I thought of.
She even got my seeds, Now she's run out, with my keys.
Which I know is kinda saying the same thing... But it was only a tiny substitution.
There's a little word skipping when trying to hit the beat in my head, couldn't decide between "yelled out last call" and yelled : "last call"

Have at it, my man! I can't wait to hear what you come up with.
