I don't think so. Half of Chiefs D are FAs. They can't keep that squad together and they don't even get close to the superbowl let alone win it without their D. Their one benefit is that no one is probably going to challenge them for the division so they will likely have a top 3 playoff spot again.
The AFC North is going to wild next year with Burrow coming back. All 4 teams are playoff caliber. Also, the Bills don't lose to the Chiefs this year if not for half their starting D being out. I think the Chiefs will probably be the fourth or fifth best team in AFC going into next year.

How dare you?

I am sorry man. I hope the Raiders have a big year.

No one has beaten the Chiefs since the Raiders did. I actually do think we'll be able to challenge them next year, but our team is young and probably won't go far in the playoffs.
reply
Hope so. Chiefs definitely turned it on in the playoffs but all three of Bills, Ravens and 49ers could have beat them if not for self inflicted wounds. You can't beat the Chiefs and yourself.

Refs were pretty good last night. Chiefs OLine were holding on every play as usual but I knew they weren't going to call any of that. Bosa got tackled by the RG on a play on the Chiefs last drive of regulation, that one was really egregious no call but other than that I didn't see much beyond the standard Chiefs holding.

That was my impression as well. There were a bunch of plays where I noticed uncalled holds, but I don't recall any particularly bad calls.
