I do not like the affect of these types of shows on some people. People like Peter who is becoming a libertarian kicking and screaming. It may take him years. The programming is deep. I know, I was programmed as well. But it is so sad to me when I hear people all spun up about what the media is hyping. He stated he was terrified about the election. I get that. I have friends that are right there with him. I also think it is really dumb. The media hypes everything to the max. We get spun up about stuff outside of our control. And if you actually believe in democracy, in the systems that "run" the "free" world it is very unsettling to learn that its all bullshit. Its why so many just never open their minds. Its to scary.

Focus on what is in your control. If you wanna vote. If you think that will help. Go for it. Vote. Then when you don't get what you want spend the rest of your time building wealth, security, and health. Build a strong family and circle of friends. These are the things that matter. The things in our control (at least in most of the west). But most of all. Do not lose hope in the future. We have hope. That hope just isn't in the state, democracy, or politics.
