Looking for more boost/accelerate TX services from mining pools. Looks like mempool.space is still in testing.
I went through a few hoops signing up with VIA BTC to find that they were charging ridiculous fees (7 million sats!).
Any others? I know Luxor had that infamous inscription, but it looks like that's not available to the public.

Tether?
That's interesting...
reply
no, is crap. I will never use that crap. I prefer to die but not using it.
reply
All these services are super expensive. And some don't even accept bitcoin! WTF!?

What's boost/accelerate tx?
reply
If you broadcast a transaction with too low a fee, another transaction with a higher fee is called a boost or accelerate.
If you are sending, you can do replace by fee (RBF)
If you are receiving, you can do child pays for parent (CPFP)
reply
I can already do RBF from my wallet. What exactly is the boost/accelerate tx services doing different?
reply
My understanding is that if I'm neither the sender or receiver then you can pay an out of band TX to a mining pool which can be called boost or accelerate.
reply
Can't you just bump the fee with RBF?
reply
Exactly.
reply
It's not mine.
Its for a noob friend on the other side of the planet.
I might have to get him on a call. This is probably the cheapest option.

you can do a CPFP from your side to bump it, if you are the destination of the payment. Use Electrum or Sparrow and just click on that pending tx and bump the fee with an UTXO from your wallet.
