I think we realistically get 2 months of summer where I am… cherry blossom is starting to come out though but still too early.

Yes we do. Both stoves are loaded. My 20 something daughter is keeping the back door ring full for her old parents too. It's not easy trudging to the wood shed in deep snow or ice.

Lots of talk here about restricting sales of ‘wet wood’ and prosecuting households who fuel their wood burners with pallets etc. The laws have been in place since 1956 (?) but only recently have needed reapplying in urban areas.
