Can anyone remember the time before smartphones and we could do a search engine search on it?
Unless I was dreaming I used to send a text with a question, to a certain phone number, and a (usually) helpful answer would come back, again in text form.
I think this service went on for a few years and has been all but forgotten when smartphones quickly caught on.
Maybe I'm dumb (or dreamt it up) but can anyone remember this dumbphone service?
I don’t!
Okay now I deduce that we are either the same age or you are 12 years older than me. I have been wondering about your age since your Zodiac post haha

@siggy47 did you come across this?
reply
No, I don't remember that. I'm probably not a good person to ask, because when cell phones came out I would forget to turn it on, and only used it to make a call. It took me a while to even text.
