My assumptions:
  • Onchain for daily usage: 500k (200m tx per year in total divided by 400 tx per person)
  • Onchain as store of value: 50m (200m transactions per year divided by 4 tx per person)
  • Lightning: 500m (5m BTC divided by 1m sats per lightning channel)
  • Covenants: ???
I think it's more about how many people are willing to put in the effort to learn and test - being responsible for themselves.

No worry, at least half of world population will die soon... because they are stupid jabbed. From the half remained, those jabbed but still escaped somehow and didn't died, are infertile, so no more heirs to keep the keys.
We will remain with just a quarter of world population soon.
Bitcoin is not for the weak... only for the brave.

It's crazy, Satoshi wrote about tx fees not even being necessary but speculated that eventually a fee market might evolve... Now we're talking about bitcoin as the base money layer of the world with 500 sat/vB tx fees. I've spent 300 sat/vB before.
