I'd read @DarthCoin's guide after reading the white paper.
Many Bitcoin books or info in general are cool for the pilling stage, but not so many practical tips and hacks there, and you really can't learn about Bitcoin by reading.
I wish I started to write those guides earlier, back in 2014-2016, when I already had quite a good base. I was very quiet until 2019-2020, almost no presence online. Just reading what others said.

it took me a while to actually find good guides, and then not toxic enough and got distracted by craptos 👀

I agree, To learn Bitcoin properly one must tinker and try different things. Writing scripts to test Bitcoin concepts (encodings, generating keys, etc.), running nodes, testing various wallets, etc.
I will be going through @DarthCoin's guides for sure.
