Here's Vonnegut's brilliant short story (from over 60 years ago) about a society dedicated completely (and horrifyingly) to equality and conformity.
love this short story. Anyone ever seen an artist render the image of a ballerina in chains? I just think that concept is super striking.

I found a couple of pieces when I searched for Harrison Bergeron fan art (see below), but I feel that enough people today just aren't familiar enough with the story to create a lot of related art. Though there's an entire secondary subgenre of stories of ballet as horror/horrific (classically in The Red Shoes, and more recently in both versions of Suspiria, Black Swan, even the use of ballet in Us).
