Previously, I wrote about how SN elevates shitposting to cathartic connections. I realised that these cathartic connections have been upgraded to the next level, hence the sequel.
It’s kinda like gradually, then suddenly. Okay, not as dramatic, I guess, but over time, you Stackers stopped being nyms on an online platform that I post obsessively to get sats to buy my beer and pizza. Your nym actually surfaces in my mind as I go about my daily routine. It started when I saw a cup of fish head curry instant noodles and got reminded of how @carlosfandango don’t like his food to stare at him. Guess what I did. I took a photo of it to show him at the Saloon.
Then, when @0xbitcoiner asked me my preferred way of eating cod fish, I took a photo of my grilled cod fish dinner to illustrate how the Japanese tuck into cod fish.
The most recent example was when I came across this Legal Writing book and was reminded of @siggy47. I mean, I probably won’t read the whole book studiously, but I think I will scan through a few chapters to determine the extent to which his writing style is influenced by his legal training. Sensei loves to investigate stuff for his own amusement.
And I will venture that this connection goes both ways. Recently, @Undisciplined told me that he thought of me when he saw something about how bid and BID exhibit vertical & horizontal symmetry respectively. I was so amazed by it that I forwarded his message to the entire English department. I don’t know if my colleagues were equally amazed, but well, it broke the monotony of an intense work day for me. That’s all it matters.
So, my question is: which 3 Stackers do you think about most often in your real life? And how so?
I first realized that people here actually knew each other on a sports thread when @grayruby tagged @siggy47 in a conversation we were having because I brought up something about NY (actually NJ) sports.
The three I think about most often are probably those two and you.
Pretty much anytime I'm watching sports, I'm looking for opportunities to give @grayruby a hard time somehow.
I think about legal stuff a lot, so naturally @siggy47 comes to mind. Also, when I'm reading or talking about books with other people.
You come to mind when I think about teaching or English or Asia (since I associate you with all of Singapore, Japan, and China).

Tough to narrow it down to three. Strange coincidence that I would include everyone @Undisciplined mentioned, including him. I would add @carlosfandango and @DarthCoin to the list.

Glad that I remind you of your dad (n your ambition to be an econs professor).
I’m thinking about the Quality Theory of Relationships. I’m sure if we build on solid relationships among regular Stackers, this will help alleviate the negative effects of MSM n maybe emerge as a substantial force when we post about SN on our Nostr n Fountain accounts.
I’m sure there is an econs theory that can help us quantify the quality of relationships ☝️. But I’m not sure what haha

I don't really think about stackers, but rather about territories. Everything I see in real life is an opportunity to stack some satoshis :)

Oh my goodness, you are like me. Suddenly every photo n writing I have done prior to SN has turned into a sats-stacking opportunity!

No one likes having their food staring at them do they? I like other peoples food staring at me even less.. lol

I guess I m just used to eating fish without its head being removed first haha. My dad will even gobble on the fish eye - but that’s extreme for me
