You young dudes have given me FOMO with all your workout routines here. I want to join you, but:
  1. These old creaky bones and various internal ailments limit me, and:
  2. I enjoy sitting around a lot
So, I started doing this yesterday. I think I need to work my way up from about 7 seconds:

Young dudes, they have it easier for sure. I admit I started strong, but have failed to keep it daily. But still motivated and not defeated entirely.

Get after it sigs 💪💪🫡
Try yoga? I find it incredible to help maintain good joint health and mobility in tandem with my normal gym routine. Infact I think yoga is part of the reason I've been relatively injury free... (Not currently 🤣🤣, just a little strain) But reasonably injury free.
You can find free yoga videos on YouTube easy enough. And it's accessible without any kit or any experience.

Yes, people have told me that. My biggest problem really is stiffness and lack of range of motion. I bet yoga would help.

nothing wrong with dead hangs, I do them too, but get bored quickly. doing only pushups or any one dimensional move is a recipe for stiffness and injuries. take a look at this video, a few foundational excercises, can make progressions from very beginner level, for any age and condition and you'll find on youtube each excercise in more detail, pick what you like, disregard the rest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDh26Cu_PqQ

Thanks for the link. What's boring for you is a challenge for me, at least for now.

When you can only dead hang for 10 seconds, boredom isn't an issue!

Simple stretching can go a long way
