Can you believe last night's games?
Spurs beating Nuggets and Jazz beating Clippers, both on games that matter to seeding for the better team.
I'm still tempted to pick the Spurs for tomorrow, especially after their last night's performance.
But since it's single elimination, I'll play it safe and go with the Cavs. Cavaliers is my pick.
There several other very near upsets, too.
Cavs, locked in. Hopefully you and I survive to the play-in.

Last night's games were just wild. Not at all what I expected, but very fun to see!

I was watching the end of the Denver game. You don't see defending champs lose on a 5-second inbounding violation very often.

I was shocked by that play too. Not only the mistake was made by the defending champ, but the man making the mistake was their number 2 guy, with loads of high pressure situation experience, in Murray. It seemed like a desperation pass to get the ball into Joker's hands too, seeing as there were only 0.9 seconds left and pass was made to Joker when he was at almost half court. I know Joker does voodoo and had scored game winners from way out, but being down by one with so little time left, it might be a good idea to just get it to someone near the rim for a higher quality shot.

Tinfoil hat time:
Maybe the Nuggets wanted to avoid playing the Lakers in round 1, so they took the opportunity to throw the game.

That is a very big and elaborate tinfoil hat.
I doubt Nuggets are afraid of the Lakers. They swept the Lakers in the WCF last playoffs and had beat them in all 3 meetings this season. They probably just got over confident with that big lead entering the second half and didn't expect the Spurs to fight back like that. I mean, who the heck would expect a rookie to score 17 points in 3 minutes against the Nuggets?
