Satoshi is dead. When he realized that Bitcoin is getting traction, he burned the genesis block keys (his initial BTC addresses) so that block could never be changed. All his BTC are burned, nobody will move them, forever. That is a feature not a bug. So even if somebody will change all the blocks, the genesis block will still remain the same. FOREVER.
Very real possibility. He might (also?) be dead. One candidate died by suicide around the timeframe one might expect for a person who became depressed around the time satoshi walked away.
