That benefits the miners who use pools, certainly. How does it benefit the operators?
I’m not saying it doesn’t benefit them, I’m just curious as to your argument.

I think there are a lot of old smaller miners out there that would join the pool if the payouts could be done for a small amount.
Think space heater crowd.

How does it benefit the operators?
I could imagine a future where mining pools also run their own LSP with the mined coin, allowing for withdraws via LN.
