Genuine question: Why would you hide your identity? I am new here so still learning.

Don’t want people to know those things about you.
I like to compare privacy to window blinds. You set them down for all kinds of reasons.

Yes that is true, but in this case of a contest race, the hidden option will disadvantage others. That means is NOT a fair game. We are all hidden, or we are all visible if we want the game to be fair.

and my next question😁 what exactly is the game? As far as I can see it is about getting the longest streak? Am I missing something? I like your way of thinking though - I came on Nostr because I like the transparency

On SN, you can choose to organise a bounty. This means that you have a task in mind n pledge a certain amount of sats in advance so that they can be given to the Stacker whom you deem as the winner.
You can pay out the bounty to multiple winners if you are pleased with many Stackers’ responses.
As the organiser, you have the right to decide the winner based on your criteria but I chose to select the Stacker with the top comment so that the winner is decided fair and square.
I hope this is clear!
