if you measure lifespan based on number of heartbeats, all mammals basically converge on 1-2 billion heartbeats per lifetime.

If you regularly do sports, your average heartbeat rate is lower. I wonder if that contributes to the lifespan?
Super interesting and makes perfect sense. A while ago I read that if you can lower your heart rate you can live longer. This confirms what I read.
