Country rock pop, David Nail(ing) it here with this great track 🤠

This is a Barefoot Blue Jean track.
same vibe, having a good time.

This is a real good one. I've just been going through my playlist and saw this track and thought, should I share this today 😂 It's songs like this that got me hooked on country. I suppose you could say it's new country. A great mix of country, pop and rock. But most of all it tends to be upbeat and happy even when the subject matter might not be. One of the best Dixie Chicks tracks is all about murdering a wife beating husband 😂. "He was a missing person who nobody missed at all"
reply
Some of the best tracks have some of the strangest backstories or weirdest lyrics. But this one is just 🔥 I love barefoot blue jean night. It's just calling back to times with friends before having to become a responsible adult.

BOOM! ran across him in my media career also. great Artist. he was friends with America's Got Talent Winner Neal E Boyd, who told me to check David out 😊
reply
they were both from my area in MO.

Here ya go! Here's you country for the day 😅🤠 It will hard for me top this with country songs in the future 👊
INTERESTING FACT: Early in my media career, this Songwriter, Stan Webb, was among one of the 1st Interview Guests I booked for our radio show.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaawwwww!
Really cool track, 0b1 dropped a great country track in this thread if you haven't heard it. The David Nial track. (I followed it up with the same kinda vibe from Jake Owen). We're feeling country today for sure!

Mansun x 808 State

I've not heard this before. But that's some proper 90s sound. Loved this track Jess cheers for sharing it 👊

Uh-oh. I highly recommend the soundtrack to the Spawn. movie (1997). There are a lot of interesting duets of alternative and metal bands with DJs and electronic musicians.

To the list with these!!
This list is getting long 🤣🤣

That's really different to "your standard hip-hop" track for lack of a better description.
I loved the video giving that interpretive dance thing with it aswell. Really cool. And the song was great too.

They're giving me bullets and octane, or dropkick Murphy's vibes... Or even... Alestorm.
Great fun. They clearly don't take themselves too seriously and just enjoy making their music.

Feeling mainstream today, I guess, since I woke up with this one going through my head. Still love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vQpW9XRiyM

Huge change of pace after listening to Bloodywood for me. Awesome track astro 👊

There is a bit of a shift in tone between the two! You never know what will be the next song on the just! It's great how wide a variety of genres and tones show up here in a day's time.
reply
We definitely get a lot different stuff.
reply
That's for sure. It's great!
reply
We got a lot of familiar nyms returning with different tastes aswell, it's really refreshing to hear different stuff from all over the place.
reply
I've noticed that, it really helps me find new music that I wouldn't have found otherwise. The only thing I hear played in my area is country and classic rock, so it's great to find people on here that go beyond that!

Kimberly Perry - If I Die Young Pt. 2 (2023) I finally got round to listening to this track from KP, who's now gone solo. She's released a follow up to If I Die Young from 2010 by Band Perry, with a more older and wiser perspective on life. Hopefully she'll carry on a do a full album.
reply
That's a really cool take on the premise of the band Perry version 1. It does change the perspective and it's really nice.
