Mutiny and Zeus but I recommend mutiny
I really like Mutiny's team and the direction they're going. Pace of development is awesome.
I recently started with Fedi
Personally very excited about all things ecash
Same here
Lot of potential to explore
Nice try, fed.
Snuck in, didn't you?
I've gotten a couple in today.
Can't say I didn't try tho!
Don't hate the player. Hate the game.
Came here to say this... zap for you sir
Zeus, Blixt, and Blink.
I mainly use Phoenix for checking currency convert. π

Walletano! yay!
What is next to mutiny on third row?
To the right of Mutiny in that pic is Electrum. I don't know what's to the left.
That means:
Which wallet is next to mutiny on your pyramid?
Can you link your guide? Substack?
Valet
I like mutiny
Blixt. Neutrino LND node in your phone, can open channels to whoever you like. If you also run Umbrel etc node in your home (like I do) you can open zero-confirnation private channel to it for ultimate security. Your family and friends can also be your node's clients with such a setup.
What's your experience with them?
Very positive, I use it for a while. It's an open source app for Apple and Android. There is no central server, the seed phrase is standard. It is very configurable, maybe not as user friendly as Phoenix, but you get full control.
Zeus wallet!
Blixt just got completely forgotten from this list lol
I forgot about Blixt! Was going through the accounts I frequently see on twitter/nostr haha. How's the experience?
Uh its great for someone who understands how the lightning network works and enjoys full control of all the settings (including whether to use convenience options or not).
When I first Zeus I didnβt really like it either but it slowly grew on me over time. Now thatβs the only wallet I use aside from my cold storage.
Zeus is still cool to me, just got a bad experience when I was force closed on my first tx π
Nunya. Nunya business.
I think we have a winner
I still have phoenix as I am in Canada but I have Breeze and Zeus as well. Haven't tried Mutiny yet. Sorry Tony. Soon.
I'm just tired of finding the "best" options... I think I'll just connect Zeus to my own node but I have no idea what I'm doing... (yet)
I want to onboard friends & potential customers.
βUnited States sub-citizens, which wallet should we ban next?β
Why not use the apk directly from github though?
blixt wallet
coinbase?
channel closed :)
2 closes actually

Yeah, I don't know why US people are so chicken shit scared. They just have to use it PROPERLY without any app store shit.
I was worried Phoenix would start blocking US users within the app, similar to WoS. Can they do that or am I just paranoid?
If you still use an apple shit, drop it now and take an android, de-googled.
I really do not understand why people cannot do these simple steps?
This
On WoS, it looks like you can SEND out, in the US, but you can't receive. You get a notice "region not supported".
I wonder, if after May 5th, or whenever it is that Phoenix is officially shutting down, they will also do this.
I was thinking of trying to use a VPN. I've received some advice to NOT do that, since lightning is kind of finicky anyway, and anything that adds complexity will cause problems.
Do you folks have thoughts on VPN with Phoenix? Honestly, I'd rather just stick with Phoenix, if I can.
Yes that's what I meant originally. If I can't receive the wallet is useless, but I dont know if Phoenix can even prevent people from receiving like WoS. I'm not concerned about loss of funds.
Run a test
Send or post invoice here
never go online without a vpn
lightning works fine, as does everything else
mullvad are good

Ok, for the complete newbie doesn't use VPNs...what's the best vpn to use?
Mullvad is great (can pay via LN too)
proton or mulvad or lnvpn are OK
Proton is easy to use and secure and private
Is it the best? Probably not but good enough and reasonable price
Recommended VPNs?

You can look at it another way. It's Phoenix who is chicken shit scared. Maybe people want to support wallets who don't surrender so quickly.
I can see moving away eventually - even soon. But all the new options take time and energy to understand. I need to have a working wallet over the next couple months.
I can definitely see that I need to have multiple options in the near future though...
This. I dont really blame Phoenix (especially since they're not US-based) but man they just pulled the trigger so quick.
Right. It was so fast. They moved before Wasabi, whose decision was more understandable.
They must have a small legal team and a small legal budget
They're ASINQ, one of the biggest, well funded players out there.
Thanks for responding
They definitely panicked because their lawyers told them to.
Maybe itβs better to have no lawyers lol
people freaking out over app store pullout, and subsequently begging for customer service ( customer service, in btc? ??) help due to ' losing their money' while their on chain transaction was in the mempool was fking sad and so ngmi. a voluntary app store pullout is like .000001 / 100 for regulatory attacks and apparently no one has any sense what holding ur own keys means after all this time.
