I write this as a newb of this community, having gone from e-gold and digicash talk forums to reddit to Twitter and now here. The bitcoiners appeared in each place and ruined the respective places. How do we prevent that? Do we want to prevent it, even?

I ask because there are clearly some HashCash fanbois here and it's starting to suck.

I would upvote and tip, but only sats are supported by this social media platform.

However, SN is open source ... you are free to fork it and add whatever shitcoin happens to be the current thing, if you'ld like.

Wait, now that I think of it, ... I myself could probably launch some utility token for this new forked SN platform. Hmm... there already is a Stacks shitcoin, so I can't use that. Since this site is like Hacker News, maybe I'll name the token Hacks! ($HCK).

Ok, ... now, do I do it as an ERC-20 token? Or maybe I do this on BSC? Wait, ... I could fork something and create my own blockchain, just for Hacks! And then a bridge so it can work on DEXs. And I want to build it further to create a metaverse for it, and have support for NFTs. It will be glorious!!! Who's with me????

Well, I already allocated 51% of the tokens to myself, 24% to ~~the influencers for shilling~~ my executive team for guidance, and 20% reserved for the "dev team" (which means that also goes just to me), ... so that leaves just 5% for the public sale. I suppose I could sell you 1% from that (at a 90% discount from token sale price, of course -- because I'ld like to have you onboard). But there's no pump-n-dump. I'm not buying any of this dog shit back even for one second. So it is only dump, from my end.
