2:16 The most dangerous magnesium deficiency symptom
In this video, we’re going to talk about the most dangerous symptom of magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is involved in over 300 biochemical reactions. It’s important for energy production, the transmission of nerve impulses, and it allows your muscles to relax.
Magnesium deficiency can occur if you’re not getting enough magnesium from your diet or if you’re consuming processed foods, carbohydrates, or alcohol. Gut inflammation, phytates, fluoride, phosphates, and soft water interfere with magnesium absorption.
Signs of a magnesium deficiency include the following: 12. Muscle cramping 11. Loss of appetite 10. Nystagmus 9. Fatigue 8. High blood pressure 7. Abnormal heart rhythm 6. Low vitamin D 5. Potassium deficiency 4. Migraines 3. Blood sugar issues 2. High levels of cortisol
  1. Pathological calcification
Pathological calcification is the most dangerous symptom of magnesium deficiency. Magnesium stops calcium buildup in your cells. If there’s too much calcium in the cell, it will self-destruct. Magnesium also helps prevent oxidative stress from occurring in the mitochondria.
Calcium buildup can lead to several problems, including heart attack, neuroinflammation in the brain, and inflammation in other parts of the body. Magnesium, vitamin K2, zinc, vitamin D, and boron may help prevent calcification of the soft tissues.

Magnesium foot spray before bed has been a complete game changer for me.

What does it do for you?
reply
For me it's mostly been better sleep quality. It's hard to quantify.
But with better sleep comes better recovery. I'm finding myself less fatigued throughout the day which is good as it was becoming a problem.

Really? Tell me more.
reply
Predominantly just better sleep quality. Fatigue and low vitamin D were a problem for me, despite supplementing vitamin D specifically aswell, the absorption of it could have been far better with the addition of additional magnesium supplementation.

Tell us more! :) What changes? What brand?

So, it's just a "boots" own brand thing. Magnesium is linked to better sleep generally, so I'm seeing the benefits of better sleep, less tired during the day all that good stuff.
It says body spray, but I apply it to the soles of my feet before sleeping because you can get really good skin absorption from the soles of your feet.
But simply getting better sleep quality has been the biggest benefit of magnesium supplementation.

Thank you for the information and reminding us that we should have medical check-ups at least annually, many times we ignore discomforts and symptoms believing that they mean nothing, under the excuse of simply being tired from work or because of the children.

Sounds serious. I have to be more careful with the vitamins I take. I have noticed I have been a bit sluggish lately. I have been told to drink tonic water before sleeping!
