Hi!
I don't have a business and I'm not particularly influent on my local community, but I want to help them accept Bitcoin.
This community is not very safe. I'm not talking guns blazing and shootings every week, but people get mugged a lot. If I go around talking about money it would certainly raise some ears and call for attention. But I know that accepting Bitcoin would make the community wealthier, would generate business and this could change things around. So I wanna give it a try.
How should I approach people? What are some good arguments to convince people to accept BTC? Do I have to Bitcoin 101 them? Is there any training or success stories I can get ideas from?
Focus on merchants.

But how do I do it? That's the question.

You can simply start by asking if they accept Bitcoin. Try sole proprietor/Mom & Pop establishments, but maybe also farms, artists, vendors at farmer's markets, etc.
Be prepared to demonstrate LN and maybe donate someone's first Sats.
If they want to onboard here is a guide from @DarthCoin.
