One could base an entire cricket betting strategy on doing the opposite of me. Considering my knowledge of the sport that might be wise.

India are in the finals. So one half of the prediction is still valid? 🤔
reply
Both of your predictions had to be correct to win this!!

Well I don’t think anyone could’ve picked two sides from the get go.
Its such a long tournament and with so many teams in it. One should at least get a little margin. Choose both right, get 100% and 50% for one.
A lot of rules need a little tinkering in future pools if the purpose of these pools is for people who participate to win.
reply
Surely, rules will be tinkered a bit in future. But, there was a chance to edit your picks once we have done the league phase and there were only 8 teams then. But nobody Gabe a chance to South Africa that's where all have lost.
reply
No I’m not talking about that. I meant a winner & runner-up should’ve been a separate picks. If one got winner right, he won the winner pool. Vice versa
But anyways, glad to know rules will change. Good job nevertheless 👍

I guess I had better change my batter and bowler picks once that post is made, huh? It only makes sense to make your picks from teams you expect to do well. In cricket, can one batter carry the entire team?
reply
In T20 the margins are really tight and a good batter can certainly turn things around.. exceptional batsman often come to the fore in the chase (that’s the side who are batting second). But some batsman can score incredible numbers of runs over the course of a tournament and their team still go out in the later stages.
reply
You surely have good experience of Cricket? Are you an Englishman? Do you play cricket at professional level? Or what's that makes you so experienced about it?
reply
Nice try Fed…
reply
I know exactly nothing about cricket. I will learn from you.
reply
I don’t know much! I once explained the game to @grayruby … he’s still traumatised.
reply
I am still so confused apparently I am selecting players that aren't even playing for England in this World Cup. I don't know why, his stats were great but definitely a fail for me. I thought I could just look at the international player list for England and pick a good one.
Sure, You can do it now. The post for highest run getter is already there.
