Another car topic. I know, I know. I like to stick with things I know. When I was in traffic today, I noticed my car was starting to get warm. Then I got to thinking, if my small car is getting warm, how is everyone else's car doing? I tend to drive slower and keep moving, making the radiator actually have flow. But for the people that tend to go and stop, how does that affect your radiator? Does your car start to overheat? With newer tech, it probably isnt a problem except for the sport cars, right? Or maybe it is just time for me to flush out my radiator and put in new fluid? Thoughts?
You could have a leak in your hose. Just keep filling it up with water or get that repaired. Just did it to a Chyrsler 300 and it was $300
Car not overheating anymore & it is nice and cold in the 115 degree arizona summer.

My car isnt overheating. It is just getting warm compared to where it usually sits. if there was a leak in my hose, I would be losing radiator fluid.

Just flush it away if it's overheating. My family car is quite new and don't have this habit. I've taken it to an altitude of 5000 metres on the Himalyas and it's working quite nicely.

I should probably flush it just in case. I havent done anything with the radiator in a long time. I havent overheated, just noticed it gets warmer in traffic.

Only a mechanic can give the right opinion on this, and I am not that person.🤗

When I learned to drive in the 70s cars would frequently overheat. It has not happened to me once this century. The tech must have improved.
