This morning I received a notification that I earned an enormous 6611 sats revenue fee for my territory. I double checked yesterday's territory activity, which turned out to be a typically sleepy Sunday. It also appears that I never actually received the fees. My other territory notifications seemed to be accurate.
May be they would arrive after an 'enormous' time lapse!!

I want to start a territory about Indian Literature under ~booksandarticles but I think it's just taking too long to apply them here!
reply
I'm looking forward to subs. Territory development has been stalled for a while because of other pressing needs.
reply
Alright! I understand that there are many pressing needs but the biggest one I think is adding subs at the moment! I've read so many comments today asking for subs!
reply
How are you determining you didn't receive the fees? There was a 10k+ downzap in your territory yesterday.
reply
That's quite a downzap
reply
I looked at my statistics page, and I also had a general idea of how many sats were in my wallet yesterday v today. Would I be notified of that downzap activity in the territory?

75 sats \ 1 reply \ @ek 22 Jul 2024
But the territory revenue shows up in satistics, right?
edit: Oh, you already mentioned that it does not in #617662
reply
Just to be clear. The summary shows up in the satistics page. It equals the amount of revenue I showed on the screen shot. It was generated when the rewards were issued. I don't see the individual transaction (I guess a big downzap?) that generated the revenue.
reply
There aren't notifications for downzaps right now.
The notifications for territory revenue only happens if the same amount of money is added to your account.
reply
Okay. As a general rule, is there a way for owners to audit territory revenue? I guess other than down zaps, we have the daily zapping info on individual posts?
reply
Not currently. We have plans to provide an analytics-like page for each territory which will show this.
reply
Was it just a push notification?
It may have been because of the new referral system.
reply
Really? Can you explain the new system further? I'm still a little confused. In any event, I don't appear to have actually received the sats.
reply
It may be a bug but
  • when you share your territory (or those of others), e.g. stacker.news/~bitcoin, it attributes a referral to the founder #604917
The receipt doesn't appear on your statistics page? https://stacker.news/satistics?inc=stacked
reply
No it doesn't.

Why sub-territories, though?

But it would come with shared costs, ain't it?
reply
You can contribute to the Territory monthly fee with sub territories, at least that is my assumption
100k sats per month is not cheap especially for new territories and will get more expensive as price of btc increase
reply
Maybe the fees are set too high in the first place?
