In a significant escalation of regional tensions, the Israeli military has deployed tanks to its border with Lebanon. This move follows a directive from Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, who has given the green light for all-out war plans against Israel.
This development marks a critical point in the long-standing conflict between the two sides, raising fears of a larger confrontation. Also Saudi Arabia has just called on its citizens to leave Lebanon. Just before Governments of France, Norway, Belgium and Sweden have also called on their citizens to immediately depart from the country.
It seems that we are on the brink of an extreme escalation of the situation in the Middle East. And just as in the case of the war in Ukraine, the diplomats have fallen silent here too.

What I see here is that the danger of a controlled proxy war developing into an autonomous center of conflict is increasing day by day. and we can hardly estimate what that means
reply
So true! We can't even imagine this unnecessary show of strength everywhere. What we can just estimate is who is fighting with whom!

I also believe that there will be a slow and gradual escalation, it seems inevitable, I wish it were not like that...

Hezbollah Blamed for Deadly Golan Heights Missile Strike, Says U.S.
The U.S. government has accused the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah of carrying out a deadly missile strike on the Golan Heights. According to Adrienne Watson, spokesperson for the National Security Council, the missile originated from a Hezbollah-controlled area. Watson emphasized the need for global condemnation of the attack.
Following the incident, the U.S. has been in communication with both Israeli and Lebanese officials. The U.S. reaffirms its unwavering support for Israel's security in the face of all Iran-backed threats, including those from Hezbollah.
Efforts are underway for a diplomatic resolution along the Blue Line, aiming to halt attacks permanently and ensure the safe return of residents on both sides of the border.
The Blue Line, drawn by the United Nations, marks the boundary between Lebanon and Israel. Post the 2006 Lebanon War, a buffer zone was established in southern Lebanon.
Israeli sources reported that on Saturday, an Iranian-made missile struck a football field in Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, killing twelve people aged 10 to 20. Israel holds Hezbollah accountable, though the group denies involvement, suggesting an Israeli defense missile caused the explosion. The news outlet "Axios" reported this claim, citing U.S. government officials.

Why does USA support Israel?
reply
This has a long geopolitical and historical background that goes back to London. The driving force behind the founding of the state of Israel at the time was the UK. To this day, the Americans are still a kind of executive evening policy of the City of London. Influence in the energy-rich region is crucial. this requires, among other things, state representation.

After us the deluge, said Marie Antoinette
reply
By the way "Let them eat cake" was attributed to Marie Antoinette by revolutionaries to spur anger among the plebes. She also never said it. It was pure propaganda. But it worked like crazy.
