And yet some SN users insist she is not a socialist.
Reminds me of the hatred for Blockstream and TapRoot and Liquid, etc
But this is more serious and dangerous than hatred of TapRoot, etc
This is wholly serious. Blockstream and Taproot are subjected to the free market at the end of the day, where the client is always right, for he can not subject others to his own taste. Governance being about coercion, those people that so lightly blandish their disregard, as a superior moral stance even, are sworn executors of freedom and peace. But they are not your problem now. They will not reverse, for the socialist mindset is all about the fatal conceit. Your problem is the youth, which is flexible and can re-adapt easily, yet still lack a mainstream social movement other that socialism. There's still no serious competition, we can see that from here. Elon aside, socialists are largely uncontested in the USA, and that's a factor that can make the problem last for generations to come.

Very good analysis of USA especially the youth
The reason is the schools and universities are dominated by socialist teachers and staff
Conservative voices are censored and ostracized
And yet hope springs eternal: non mainstream social, cultural and political movements can be effective in stealth mode, underground resistance and dissidence
Excellent point about Elon: X is the most effective tool to combat socialist media lies
Trump has a large following on TikTok (second hand information as I don't use TikTok).
Among the youth, there is a gender divide: males are moving to conservatism, females continue to move radically left because of abortion
Socialists are a minority in USA but their influence is greater than conservatives because they control the institutions: Silicon Valley, television, Hollywood, entertainment, legacy media, K-12 education and academia, non profit organizations such as charities and taxpayer funded NGO, public sector unions and more. There are others that I cannot remember right now.
Socialists are also louder and have larger megophones which distorts their influence.

I too thank god Elon took hold of twitter, it's the only platform I believe in right now. Of course I know how to read the information, for there's a lot of misinformation too but it's easy to tell apart.
Be careful not to make a distinction between conservatives and the left. At their heart they defend the same economic system. That's a serious problem we had here prior to Milei, where the opposition to the left was conservative, yet once in power proceeded to do the exact same thing, but "with manners" as Milei always say. Milei was successful at fading the mirage of any distinction between conservatives and the left, always using that phrase: "conservatives are leftists with manners". Turned out to be no trolling, but 100% accurate. And the exact same thing is happening right now on the USA.

Conservative = Leftist with manners
Very true and astute observation
I need to think of a better word to replace "conservative"
Defenders of life, liberty and private property rights?
Socialists vs Private property
collectivist vs individual
Authoritarian vs Liberty
Multi-cultural vs Western civilization
globalism vs patriotism
censorship vs free speech
reply
Immigrants first vs Citizens first
Foreigners vs America first

Defenders of life, liberty and private property rights
That's the textbook libertarian moto, the term must be "libertarian". But having the current "Libertarian Party" as face value is going to be an agony you have to tackle smartly or you're going to hate them so much that will turn just in a standard "conservative".
reply
Anti-socialist?
Good point, this is really annoying and difficult
Viva la libertad!
Viva La Reagan Revolución!
I have to plagiarize
reply
Being simply "anti" lacks identity, you have to offer something in return. Don't tell me what you are not, don't tell me what others are, tell me what you are. Feel free to plagiarize, I think that will help to make the general movement bigger. Use "Viva La Libertad" or "La Libertad Avanza" if you will, by all means be my guest. Just be mindful Libertarianism is at the base.
reply
La Libertad Avanza
Liberty Advances is a great name
The fact that you can not think of one already says a lot. That's the representativity crisis we faced for a long and agonizing time prior to Milei. When Milei appeared we where able to call ourselves "libertarians". But prior to that the term was unusable, not only because of an Overton Window way far to the left, but also because the political development state of existing libertarian parties was shameful. It was so full of jerks and wannabees that you had to have a strong stomach to survive the first years. At first it was impossible to defend, even if the conviction in the ideas was absolute, the lack of leadership, and even more, the over-abundance of mediocre wannabee clowns trying to seize the moment, made the self-called "libertarian" political space so unreliable, that from the 3 (three!!!) self-called "libertarian" parties already in existence none was admitted into the coalition that made Milei president. So dire the situation was.
I'm fairly well acquainted with the state of the "Libertarian Party" of the USA and, Jo Jorgensen aside, it's as lame as the original "Libertarian Party" here (which was, and is, so terribly bad that Milei refused to be associated with them, having to form an entire new separate party from scratch, "La Libertad Avanza").
So, what word to use is an important and key challenge. It ought to be "libertarian", but there's a lot of underpinning to do to make that work.
reply
These so-called “progressives” or “liberals” are not advocates of progress or liberty: they are enemies of them, and the sooner champions of liberty acknowledge what they are, the better our slim chances for defeating them will be. Libertarians and conservatives are inclined toward civil discourse and respect for the rule of law. They must come to terms with the fact that their enemies—not opponents—are implacable, bent on winning whatever the cost may be, willing to use any means whatsoever to prevail and, once triumphant, to deprive their opposition of the means to reverse or even impede the implementation of their agenda.
America First Populism!
Defend the West by any means necessary
Defeat the Enemy by any means necessary

The name of a coalition will be solved in a later stage, that will be no issue. The issue right now is that you only have conservatives, not libertarians. Focus on building libertarianism, then the coalition will be a natural result, at least in the last minute. That's what happened to Milei: conservatives repelled him and attacked him relentlessly as he gained recognition, and a unified coalition was impossible, up to the latest stage of the election when conservatives, already out of the race, directed their voters to vote for Milei. Concentrate on your own space, the rest will fall in place.
