When people talk about “being grateful,” they usually talk about the good things in their lives; the things they’ve succeeded at, the beautiful memories they’ve amassed. Yes, we should certainly be extremely grateful for all of that. But perhaps even more so, we should be grateful for all of our failures and hardships, because these are ultimately the things that drive us forward, that really make us grow as human beings.
