What is your channel reserve sat amount?
Go into settings\ lightning channels and check.
This will affect some of the options.

Closed the channel to see if onchain would work just to move and na...so now I'm back to opening a channel to retrieve

If you already on chain, then you have a super small utxo. It is basically useless.

There wouldn't be much point to do this. Send it into custodial LN or liquid. You should be able to send an onchain TX for less than 400 sats so you should be able to keep 6-800

I don’t think the mobile app would just stop working. It’ll stop getting updates but as long it’s on your phone you’re in no rush. Of course it’s unsafe to keep sats on it but you can always grab an apk and restore your wallet on some android device.
