In the struggle to Orange pill those in my circle of influence, many of whom are non-technical types, I am using Blue Wallet as my non-custodial wallet demo. However, when I get to the subject of Lightning I think that Blue Wallet is for advanced users. I like Breez for it's simplicity and features as a non-custodial option, and for custodial I think Strike is great. I have many people to work with who are international, and can't use Strike in their country... All that said, I am wondering if the thoughtful types among you here have some thoughts about Lightning Wallets for entry level users. Shall we count Muun? Let me know your thoughts, and if you have any resources to share for the process that would be great too.

Now that Mutiny is no longer being developed, I would say CoinOS (Custodian Option) is the quickest on boarding process.
Here are two post with some good thoughts on the issue: #548942 #639021
Stacker news is also a good first "wallet"

Mutiny is no longer under development?! That's news to me. I tried it and dropped it after the later version where I couldn't get an address without paying for it. Thanks for the tip on COINOS, the web wallets are great for use in countries with restrictive access.

Mutiny wasn't the best option anyways... I really do not know why you still insist :)

This is my experience. Mind you, im not new to Bitcoin, but is new to LN. I am also very technical, still I find choosing wallets mainly for its easiness and security.
I’m currently using Breez. I was looking to use Alby, but they are still in development, and I haven’t got an invite.
I’m looking ways to let my teenage children start stacking.

Thanks. I’ve read the first one, and I think LNBits is the one I need.
The killer app is the ability to transfer between wallet without fees
reply
No. Fees are not the "killer app". The killer app / feature is the permissionless of transacting with BTC anytime, anywhere, freely. If you still do not get that, you still have to learn more about Bitcoin. Start here:
People are getting it wrong Bitcoin, that is about "less fees"... it's all about FUCK THE BANKS AND GOVS. Transacting with Bitcoin IT IS NOT FREE !

I’m talking about this part, in the context of me being the children’s banker:
His clients also can have a "fidelity" wallet on your same LNBits. Your friend can open one for them and setup to be used with Zeus or Bluewallet as lndhub wallet. With this wallet will have 0 fees because is internal, is NOT even reflected on LN transactions, nor onchain! Yes they can pay also with whatever other LN wallet, but this one can be used as "fidelity" client wallet. Later can be even implemented with a NFC card that is loaded with sats and spendable directly to your friend shop wallet.
That’s the reason I will use this approach. I will send sats to them daily. So it makes sense for me to avoid the fees.
They will pay the fees when they send payments.
That is my understanding based on what I read. Did I get it wrong?
