I'm profoundly concerned by the fact that, despite widespread condemnation, coverage, and discussions of femicides, this horrific crime not only persists but seems to be on the rise. Public exposure of these events—even the most horrifying—provokes not just disgust, but also a disturbing allure. It fosters a form of imitation, a dark impulse that can take root in already troubled minds. And, unfortunately, there is no shortage of such disorders.

Frankly, I don’t know what advice to give to journalists, "experts," and news channels that insist on covering femicides in exhaustive detail—offering every kind of analysis, showing striking photos of victims and perpetrators, and sensationalizing the story for days or even months. Are they discouraging such heinous acts, or are they unintentionally promoting them?

It is exceedingly difficult to find the path to social and personal healing for every form of psychopathy. And then there’s the way we live today: the triumph of permissiveness over true freedom, the relentless undermining of supportive institutions, the glorification of audacity over courage, and the endless repetition—so much repetition that even the most shocking things become commonplace. All of these forces only further damage our already fragile psyches.

This is why so many protests and petitions are organised and funded by the very corporate organisations you are protesting against, such as “big oil” and governments.

In simple terms you are accepting the “corporate authority”, and by protesting it you are strengthening it.

So many people are trying to tell you what to buy or where to consume, so few are trying to teach real skills or how to be free.
