For now, yes. If you want to you can play around with zapping and keep using SN for getting zaps for now. If you have a lightning address, you can receive zaps there. That's an easy hookup. I can't remember if Phoenix has that option too.
Thanks!
If you have a lightning address, you can receive zaps there.
Does that mean I may reciece zaps directly to my lightning address?
reply
Yes. Just keep in mind that the way lightning works, you will only receive zaps if the node connected to your wallet is online.

There are many options on attach wallet which one I select to receive zaps. I've a lightning address by Wallet of Satoshi. Does that work?
reply
Yes. That will work all the time, as I understand it. Like SN, it is a "custodial" wallet. That's a good choice for now. Ideally, you want to eventually find a non custodial solution, so you don't have to trust anyone but yourself.

Thank you so much for the answer and patience. For now I'm using these two but later I intend to use custodial ones like Zeus or Blixt.
Sorry, One more question, I've just attached Blink but I'm still zapping from my SN wallet. Why?
reply
The reason is that your SN wallet needs to be empty before your attached wallet will begin zapping.
Just a terminology clarification: Zeus and Blixt are called non custodial, because nobody but you has custody of your sats. Wallet Of Satoshi is called custodial because you are trusting them to have custody of your sats.

Thanks! Did I just write custodial there! I know the difference but just new to Bitcoin and all of this. I've withdrawn 8000 sats the other day and so far that's my Bitcoin experience is. You can understand I'm new. But this is just bad .. I accept I must do better than this. I'll take it as a lesson and double check the next time I comment.
Thank you so much sir!

I still make that mistake! No big deal. Understanding the difference is more important than using the right word.
