Of course I'm exaggerating as a joke! Or at least I think so. The truth is I spend most of my time on the mobile. Not just SN. All of my work is conducted on the mobile-texting, phone calls, emails, and nostr.

We know, it was a joke.

I don't have a phone! I treat it as a book. Whenever I open this book, I open it for reading about something or taking help. So? If you are indicating towards a book that's digital with a touchscreen, I may open it 20 times a day.
reply
I don't know man!! Never counted it but because I use it way too much, I'll go with the maximum πŸ˜„

Should be able to see it somewhere it settings. It's never a great feeling, lol
reply
Did you see it? I actually couldn't find!
reply
For Android, I think it's under something like "digital wellbeing", and for iOS you can see the total number of times you've picked up your phone in Settings > Screen Time

I'm trying to limit the interference. These days I'm not out and about, so easy to ignore. Why do you need a mobilt if you are at home or in an office?

Nowadays, mobile phones are no longer just a means of communication, they are actually a work and/or entertainment station. In my case, more for work and education.

Never counted , but a lot. More since using SN.

I wish I could know the exact number, so I could try to reduce it.

I see it 40 to 60 times a day.

Dang it, we are addicted to these "trackers" we can't live a day without it... it is very sad.

Too damn much. I'm trying to transition fully to grapheneos from iphone in large part because I want to decrease my phone usage. I feel the more 'barebones' feel of grapheneos (at least by default) and that without google play services installed I won't have notifications for many apps, I can decrease my phone usage which is largely unproductive.
