Stacker News maintenance tonight around 8p CT

I'm going to take down the site for maintenance tonight around 8p. If all goes well it shouldn't last more than 15 minutes.

Following that, I'm going to do maintenance on our lightning node which means payments to/from SN will be unavailable for a bit. Hopefully that won't be longer than 15 minutes too.

We're back. That took nearly an hour. I stuffed too many maintenance tasks in at once. That's so k00b.

I'll upgrade our lightning node next weekend. That's enough hair pulling and pin and needle sitting for one night.

The site might be a little slower than usual as I tune the performance of some of the newness.

You will need to have some state and local emergency units on stand by, not sure the people will be able to handle that...lol And what exactly "down" means in 2024? We not on kubernetes I reckon...
