News Of The WeekNews Of The Week
Welcome to the Books And Articles newsletter. Thanks for all of the quality posts.
This has been a really good week for the territory. @jimmysong posted his review of The Mandibles, which is one of the most popular works of fiction among bitcoiners in recent years. If you don’t know anything about Jimmy Song, he is an OG bitcoin developer, educator, entrepreneur and author. He has written books such as “Programming Bitcoin”, “Fiat Ruins Everything”, and many others. Here’s a link to his Amazon author’s page.
I am also very happy to showcase our new logo this week, designed by @plebpoet. Not only does she usually dominate the top posts in this territory with her writing, but now she’s adding her artistic skills. A real Renaissance Person.
A few days ago I created My Bitcoin Journey Directory. I did it primarily to inspire more stories from stackers about how they discovered bitcoin. I hope we get a few posts on this topic in the coming weeks.
One more thing. There were a lot of good posts that flew under the radar. I included a few more suggestions, so I won’t be selecting a Golden Oldie in this newsletter. There is more than enough here already to keep us busy.
As always, please reply with suggestions and opinions on how to make this territory better.
I hope everyone has a good week.

I have no idea how this slipped past everyone. It’s a typical high quality Mises Institute review of Knut Svanholm’s new book about bitcoin. It sounds good. I will add it to my growing pile of unread bitcoin books. So many good ones have been published lately.
I admit it. This is a sentimental pick. When my daughter was young these books and movies played a big role in our lives. They were particularly enjoyable for me, since I still have the sense of humor of a fourteen year old boy.
This post by @Taft features a poem by Hermann Hesse, and Taft’s personal childhood memories . Most of us can find some truth here.
I enjoy just about everything @Malachi17 posts. I recommend you check out his site.

Fantastic work @plebpoet!
Thanks @siggy47 fot the newsletter!
I see you've not stopped adding Bitcoin Journeys to this one. Do you wish to continue them here? I personally liked the idea of separating all of them.
We have a bunch of good reviews this week. The top two there are amazing! We surely can't say who's review was better! Thanks @ek and @jimmysong!
Good question regarding Bitcoin Journeys. The directory was too small, so I didn't include it in the index. I will include individual posts if anyone tells their story in the index. Then once there are a good number of stories I will re-post the directory.
I've told my story #674910 last day. If you think it's eligible, kindly include it.
I missed this! Thanks for pointing it out. I will definitely include it. It's weird I missed it, because I read and enjoyed the post.
No problem. I can't blame you for this! My story is actually such a short one that it can be missed!
Just been to Bitcoin a few months ago!
It was good.
Ahh sorry I didn't Thank you for selecting the story to be part of the Directory!
Thank you so much for selecting and thinking it to be worth.
TBH, I didn't write it expecting to be included but when I saw about it in your comment, I thought to ask about it.
Again many thanks!
Yes, considering there are only 4 posts, it would be better to post the Journey directory when there are at least 10 posts.
What about creating a directory for poetry?
Yes. That's on my list too.
I like the reviews so much and this week has been full of reviews. Thank you @ek! For me yours is the no. 1. I also like @jimmysong's but then there's one from @cryotosensei which didn't pick up for the top 5 ranks but it was way different than the regular review. Overall an excellent week for the food of mind.
Thanks @siggy47! This territory is the best!
Thanks for the reminder, I still didn't read the essay in full 👀
include a link to the previous issue
Excellent suggestion. I shall.
