Yes, it really is! I'm getting more and more motivated to learn how it's played, the rules and everything but we can't watch live. May be we get some highlights. Do you know where to watch highlights?
Yes, we have. But we actually need to subscribe to here to watch live games.

Expensive.
reply
Yes. I don't know any other option. May be because they monopoly, so they have such high prices.
reply
For context, that same package is 1115 rupees/month in Canada.
Good point about it being a monopoly. In Canada/US there are many ways to get all the games so they can't charge as much due to competition.
reply
This is almost 90% higher!
I'll try to find some other option for Indians here are getting excited 😊
reply
Crazy when you think about it. That is definitely out of reach for many people in India. Maybe the rich people can afford it but what about the middle class?
NFL wants to grow the game internationally. You would think they would have a lite option that would just amount to a few dollars a month. Maybe you don't get all the games but you get 3 or 4 feature games a week.

2000 INR isn't a big deal for the middle class if the whole family watches the sport or for a person who is in charge. But when done other member, only for himself, asks for 2000 rs to just subscribe to watch a game that noone else understands, he won't be allowed to buy.
An average middle class person now earns in the range of 50000 to 200k every month. Below 50k people are now poor here, imo. Above 200k are rich, again imo.
reply
At 50k rupees a month the price would be 4% of their monthly salary. That's a lot just for football. Yes, if the whole family is working and earning and enjoys watching that makes sense but for an individual earner that seems high.
In Canada comparatively the low end of middle class salary would be around $4000 a month. Obviously cost of living in Canada is different than India but 4% of a low end middle class salary here would be $160 month, which is almost 10x what the price for the nfl package here in Canada is. Not factoring in taxes etc.
I don't know if the site works well in other countries, but this is a site that aggregates free streams of live sports events.
reply
This really sucks man! Too many bogus popups, redirects and still not able to play. I've tried such sites long before for other games but they never worked. If they worked then I didn't like because they give you videos only in very very low quality and the cost may sometimes be an unwanted file installed or downloaded in your system without your consent.

Sorry, I've got so many adblockers running that I don't notice those things!
I have to use this over in the UK. It's very expensive. £200 a year almost. And even then, you don't get every game because some games are "blacked out" which is rediculous.
reply
This is pure monopoly by the broadcaster! 200 euros for one game! This is riddddddiiiiiiicullllous!!
reply
It's 200 for the year which is every game. Plus some.other.content, but it is very expensive.
reply
Roughly calculating, In 200 we can get an OTT subscription in India for 3 years that too will include Amazon, Netflix, Disney etc.
reply
Oh the downside of being born in a country that rips off its residents. Sometimes I really want to leave the UK.
reply
I am sure there will be some highlight packages on youtube. I usually watch the highlights on NFL Network.
reply
I think dazn.com has got exclusive rights for online streaming in India.
