I was perusing the top lists on Stacker News, as I do from time to time, and it occurred to me that how we each score across categories is something like a Stacker News personality type.
My All-Time Scores
- Cowboy: 4th
- Value: 4th
- Stacking: 3rd
- Spending: 19th
- Comments: 5th
- Posts: 10th
- Referrals: 46th
So, it looks like I'm highly consistent, I say things people like, I prefer to take part in conversations than lead them, I'm a bit of a cheapskate, and I have no social influence. That more or less checks out.
I'm not surprised to be doing so poorly at referrals (I actually do try to attract people to SN), but the gap between stacking and spending surprised me (I think of myself as someone who splashes sats around with a fair amount of abandon).
It takes a couple minutes to do, but what is your Stacker personality profile? Does it reflect how you think of yourself?
